All volunteers must complete a volunteer form and pass a background check. Download the Little League Volunteer Application (PDF), print it and provide to the Cranston Ravens President (or give to your coach and/or any Ravens Officer and they can pass it along).

The Cranston Ravens Officers can be found using this link.

Yes! The Cranston Ravens offer fastpitch softball divisions for girls, ages 4–18, of ALL abilities and experience. Depending upon where you live, we offer a Little League program through our sister league, the CNBLL Fastpitch Softball program. If you live outside that Little League boundary, we offer a very fun USA Softball Ravens league where we participate with other nearby organizations (ie- Coventry, West Warwick, North Providence, etc). Most Cranston Ravens travel team players participate in one of the spring recreational leagues. We also offer two different younger groups, 8U (ages 5–8) and 6U (ages 4–6) and they participate with other local leagues. If you wish to be considered for the 8U Cranston Ravens summer tournament team, you must participate in either our 6U or 8U rec league.

Possibly. Most teams are filled, but some teams may still be in need of players. Visit the Travel Team pages to see if they are in need of players and/or contact the coach to ask questions.
For our Raven’s teams (USA Softball, not Little League), tryouts normally take place in August each season. We will post event dates on our tryouts page. U8 tryouts are held in the Spring, near the end of the recreational season (8U players must have participated in the spring rec league). Little League all-star tryouts (these are NOT Cranston Ravens teams) are immediately following the spring recreational league season. Girls can participate on both CNB Little League All-Stars and Cranston Ravens USA Softball travel teams (both are separate from recreational league teams).
